Project Description
The Hotels Unlimited Group owns and manages a range of hotel properties throughout the New Jersey and Florida. The success of these facilities and the Hotels Unlimited Group has always rested on beauty and elegance of their lobbies, lounges, hallways, and conference spaces. Lighting has always been essential to maintenance of the best aesthetic considerations and as such a major investment for Hotels Unlimited.
GreenLight approached Hotels Unlimited about turning their lighting systems into a direct source of cash in addition to providing the essential ambiance for hotels. Through the specification of advanced LED lighting GreenLight was able to help Hotels Unlimited realize significant utility bills savings in the process of replacing aging incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. GreenLight worked with the local incentive programs to secure rebates for these projects that enabled the cost savings to pay for the cost of the project in less than 1 year.
