Project Description
Seagis Property Group LP invests across the spectrum of industrial real estate. They are focused on logistically driven warehouse markets along the Eastern Seaboard with particular emphasis on South Florida, New Jersey and the New York Metro area. GreenLight worked with 8 of their properties surrounding JFK airport, where the existing lighting systems were 400W MH. We designed a complete overhaul of the lighting system upgrading to energy efficient fixtures. The result was improved lighting enhancing the work place while lowering the operating cost. Taking advantage of new technologies we installed occupancy sensors to allow the lights to shut off in areas with no activity. Between the energy savings and rebates SEAGIS realized a return on investment in less than 1 year.
